As the sun sets over Lake Superior, gather with us for a heartfelt and inspiring tribute at the Lights of Remembrance Luminary Ceremony. This special event is a chance to honor loved ones, celebrate survivors, and support the fight against cancer—all while illuminating the night with a breathtaking display of light and love.
Entries for all contests are free, but a $25 donation is suggested to support the Ontonagon County Cancer Association.

Guided Night Hunts – Armed with flashlights and tracking tips, venture into the woods under the cover of darkness, listening for rustling leaves, eerie howls, and mysterious footprints. If your guide runs… follow them. Seriously.

Daytime Family Hunts – A laid-back, scavenger-hunt-style adventure featuring hidden Bigfoot clues, oversized footprints, and secret trails leading to fun surprises! (No Squatches were harmed in the making of this event.)

Photo Ops & Evidence Collection – Keep your camera ready! If you spot giant footprints, mysterious markings, or even a shadowy figure in the trees, you’ll want to document your findings. Because let’s be real, no one’s going to believe you otherwise.

Prizes for the Best "Finds" – Whether it’s the best Bigfoot call, the most convincing “evidence,” or the funniest encounter story, prizes may be awarded to fearless explorers! Extra points if you get Bigfoot to pose for a selfie. Do You Have What It Takes?
